Yes that's right

Saturday 19th July 2008!

Do you want to know how 'BAD COMPANY 2008' evolved? Then first understand this. We have always believed that Bad Company, at any one given point in time, has always been more important than 'any one individual' in it. Since the bands conception in the 1970's Bad Company has had THREE vocalists, THREE bass gutarists and several (Dave 'Bucket' Colwell being the longest serving and still current) guitarists. So this is where we are now. Lets begin with the great man himself, prolific guitarist & multi hit song writer MICK RALPHS? The very first Bad Company member. Mick played with many bands before creating MOTT THE HOOPLE with Ian Hunter ('All The Young Dudes' ring a bell?). He left MOTT to form BAD COMPANY with FREE voaclist Paul Rodgers, drummer Simon Kirke and Bassist Boz Burrell, God rest him (KING CRIMSON). Mick also appears on the re-recording of Tommy by THE WHO. He also teamed up and toured with Dave Gilmour (PINK FLOYD) and wrote a song with GEORGE HARRISON called 'Flying Hour'. His UK and US hit singles and albums are far too numerous to mention. We move on to our extarordinary bass player Jaz Lochrie? Jaz had a springboard success with eighties white-soul band GO WEST. A high profile sessions career ensued followed by a move to Japan to form PSYCHEDELIX with Cher resulting in four albums. Jaz toured with Pete Townsend, Alice Cooper, and Roger Daltrey before being approached by Paul Rodgers. He performed on numerous tours and four of Pauls albums before becoming the new (and existing) bass player for BAD COMPANY 2002. What can you say about our special guest drummer Harry James? The man has his own enormous fanbase & following, and quite rightly too beacuse he's such a character. Better known for his work with THUNDER & MAGNUM (Thunder were No.2 in 1992 UK album charts) Harry is one of the most respected drummers on the rock circuit. He has agreed to continue drumming for us until 'the main man' Simon Kirke fulfills his current commitments, and feels able to return to his rightfull seat. In his own right Harry has contributed to work with Don Airey, Russ Ballard, Graham Bonnet, Shadowman and Paul Young. In 2006 he played with THE IAN GILLAN BAND at The Royal Albert Hall. For us, he is the perfect stand in for Simon as his skills are beyond question. Moving on to the LEGENDARY guitar genious of Dave 'Bucket' Colwell (who has a new solo album in his own right with guests & friends including Bad Co.) Dave is the longest ever serving 'joint-guitarist' with BAD COMPANY, appearing on nearly every one of the bands earlier recorded albums. He has performed with a multitude of world class rock bands including HUMBLE PIE and THE JONES GANG, created by Kenny Jones, formerly of Faces/Small Faces, and more recently The Who. Last we have our charismatic, multi-talented vocalist and hit song writer Robert Hart. The blonde bombshell from hell, who totally radiates 'stage presence' and mesmerises live audiences. Some rate him 'the best ever' vocalist for BAD COMPANY. In fact many listeners have mistaken his voice for that of Bad Co's first vocalist, Paul Rodgers who is currently fronting Queen. We believe that they are BOTH shining examples of song-craft. Robert has contributed to more PLATINUM singles and albums than anyone else I have ever met. Out front with Bucket, Jaz & Mick they more than prove that they are truly worthy of the right to create what is now the much loved new BAD COMPANY 2008. From the stage outward, they reward rock loving audiences with their glowing performances. Come and see them in action and enjoy the buzz...I know I do! Keeping the faith.
