Disabled Day Parking

The Kings Bush Centre has been developed with access for disabled in mind (Riding for the Disabled use the site weekly). Most areas will not prove difficult to cover with manual or electrically propelled wheelchairs though some areas have a gravel surface, it is not deep and is quite solid.

The main campsite is used as a showfield at other times of the year and has a good solid grass surface, with some made up areas of roadway.

A site has been allocated for disabled festival goers tents, caravans or campervans and is close to the footpath to the arena, with a solid road to the performance area (go slow over speed humps), wide access toilets are also close to this location. Please ask to be added to this campsite list when ordering your camping tickets.

We will arrange assistance with tent errection if this is a problem for you - let us know in advance if at all possible.

A raised viewing area within the tiered seating area is provided with a suitable ramp and access to a disabled toilet. On the floor level of the arena, access to the main toilet facitities is via the main outside doors then into the main entrance next to the coffee shop.

Please book tickets early if possible and let us know if you wish to reserve a space in the disabled campsite or may wish to use the existing viewing platform. If sufficient demand we may be able to provide an extra platform.

Power to recharge electrically propelled chairs can be arranged, please email us with your requirements if possible.

Feel free to contact us with suggestions or requests, we will do our best to make this festival both accessable and enjoyable for everyone.
