Simon Scardanelli

A welcome return for the Guitarist, singer, songwriter and performer who has constantly bucked the trend. Scardanelli's songs combine gritty realism with soaring melody and quirky English eccentricity.

An exciting and charismatic performer whose skills have been honed on some of the toughest stages in the world!

"Simon Scardanelli's performance was particularly memorable. Powerful melodies, an impeccable vocal performance, decent song structures and lyrics that are actually worth listening to. Perfect." BBC Radio Berkshire

"...a voice as keenly jaded as Lou Reed's."

Robert Knight, WBAI

Former Big Bam Boo main man Simon Scardanelli returns to the live scene after a lengthy absence.

Scardanelli enjoyed success in the early eighties with The Boomerang Gang (Warner Brothers) and from '88 to '90 with Big Bam Boo (MCA) scoring a top 20 radio hit in the US before disapearing into the New York underground at the end of 1990.

Emerging in 1994 with the darkly challenging Eye Camera album (Red Line) Scardanelli re-located to

London in 1995 where he briefly played the acoustic circuit before wandering off to Sussex University to take a degree in 20th Century Music. Disappearing again from the live circuit, Scardanelli put his energies into experimenting with sonic-composition.

He is currently in the final year of a PhD in Electro-acoustic composition, studing under Prof. Jonty Harrision at Birmingham University.

Subsequent home of Harry's beloved 12" Monitor Gold Tannoy Lancasters!
